Sorry it's so blurry. :-( This is not a pose you'd really find a GPO taking in nature, but it is impressive, it resembles a lot of 19th-century scientific illustrations and political cartoons, and the arms have a sinuous, Nouveau style to them. The overall flatness (the arms are in a single plane) would allow it to be hung overhead in a room with a lower ceiling or to be mounted on a wall. The pose also contrasts nicely with the long, straight-line giant squid model.
